Front mudguard - what yamaha is this for?

So I bought this for my FZ1 off amazon and got a refund, as it clearly dosen't fit, as its 2" too narrow. Apart from the size its looks indentical to the OEM one for my FZ1, so my question is what bike does it fit, so I can punt it on.
The product page said it was for an FZ8 and FZ1, but arent they basically the same bike, in the running gear dept?

Well no, because all that will do is show images that look like this one, and that the ones it finds are for the FZ1.
