Afternoon Gents,
I have had low beam on both bulbs go, and I'm looking for replacement bulbs recommendations. I remember reading somewhere that the wiring has some limitations, so looking for the best bulbs I can get without overloading the wiring loom.
Cheers,

2003 Gen1 Fazer
They are pretty standard 3 prong bulbs used by many bike and car manufacturers, they do vary in wattage you can just check the shelf at the local auto spares shop and see what's available.
If both dipped beam have failed simultaneously then it could simply be a fuse. I from memory they are 10A. Personally I think it would be easier to replace the bulbs as and when rather that alter the electrical system
*Disclaimer*
Nothing I say should in any way be taken as a good idea ?
Hi mate,
Thanks for the response, I have had mix results with headlights bulbs in the past and just wanted to see what recommendations people have.
I don't want to do any modifications to the lights or wiring in anything else. just looking for the brightest/best bulbs I can get.

Mark

The owners manual states that the bulbs are 12v 60/55w most replacement H4 bulbs will fall into that. Personally I would be looking at the Philips X-tremeVision Pro150 as they offer a good balance of brightness, white levels and longevity. The RacingVision GT200's are brighter (200% vs 150%) and slightly whiter (3500k vs 3400k) but have a significantly reduced lifespan (250 vs 450 hours) both are 55w so should be fine for the Fazer.
i put led ones in all the fazers i have had work fine and easly 100 % better
At some point I tried LED , from Osram, LEDriving H4.
They light well, the beam remains very defined, but I found out the light to be too "cold" and I didn't like to see the radiators sticking out.
End up returning them for some Philips 130% plus.
