Noob from Basildonia

Hi chaps a'nd ladies….

New to the fazer  got myself a little project bike 2001 bike for a decent price..
It was previously a cat n write of in 2017 (light damage non structural) was a bit dubious at first but thought what the hell.
It has been mot,d every year since with no advisory’s
It is really quite clean and has done 44k , but could do with the tank and plastics re-sprayed, as they are a bit faded and. Scratched.
Does need a new TPS and carb rubbers but other than that it looks pretty good ?
Planning to do all the work myself.
So any advice and things to look out for will be greatly appreciated …

If it ain't broke it soon will be ....

Good choice. You might be OK with the carb rubbers. The outer cracks seldom go all the way through.
Common issues are blowing downpipes, seized rear caliper and knackered oem rear suspension.
Other than that, a pretty solid bike. Had mine 19 years, here in Rayleighdonia  Smile
