Front Brakes Master Cylinder Pump Seal

Hi,
Just to check, will the piston seal in the master cylinder interchange with any of the 14mm OEM type? I would like to get any of those 14mm piston of other made and transfer the seal over due to cost and availability . Any one tried?

If it's just the seals, it's very possible.  I've never tried or had any need to, if the seals are the same dimensions/shape etc, fit the piston and the piston fits into the master cylinder bore as it should, i.e. not tight/lose then it's likely they will work.  You'll have to try it, but I'm not recommending or suggesting you should try it and you do so at your own risk.

Surely a dealer can order you the correct part or at a push a pattern part?
