Excited
#1
Just wanted to say hello.  I have just bought a 2003 FZS600 - I will pick it up on Friday.  I sold my last bike 18 months ago and thought that I had given up biking. Now I must admit that I am an addict and so have invested in the Fazer.  Really looking forward to hitting the highway once more.

Wow, where did all those revs come from? Picked up my FZS 600 today and my first ride about 80+ miles. Very different from my last bike - Triumph Scrambler. I kept looking for an extra gear. Thank you to the beautiful roads of Shropshire and Powys for getting me back in the swing of things. I think I am really going to like this bike.

I was shocked at how much I love my Fazer as I was always into sports bikes but the Fazer has completely changed my view on preferred bike types. Really glad you're  enjoying yours  Big Grin

Welcome oldfolkie,
Good choice of bike and glad you decided, like myself, to keep on riding.  After all age is only in the head! Nothing says we have to conform to the stereotypical pensioner image! The FZS 600 is a fantastic bike-does so many different things well.
You live in a great part of the world-I am in Brum & my bike "knows" the best escape routes to my favourite riding roads-Worcestershire, Wales,Shropshire. Post a pic of your bike-would it perchance one of the faster RED ones? :lol
Are you going to the Llangollen Bikefest 23rd/24th July?
