I've seen this elsewhere and whilst, ok, it's a clever bit of technology, I have to wonder: What the hell is the point?

Like, I'm sure, most people in here, I have a bike not only for transport, but because it's *fun* to ride. I can understand self-driving cars, but unless you want a self-driving Bike Taxi, what exactly will this achieve?

OK so its not putting a man on the moon etc etc but as far as mankinds achiviements go its pretty impresive
