Last time I was out, in the cold, I felt there was a bit of hesitation under hard acceleration so a springtime mission was to check carb balance (I have carbtune) check TPS check exup etc. The bike is not ivanised.......but it is blue (before someone asks).
I did the trimming of the plug leads last season, as well as new plugs.
Anything else to check and what order should the above checks be done?
All replies appreciated.....even the sarcastic ones!
D
Was the hesitation not long after starting the bike (turning choke off)?
If it's broken, it's not fixed.
No it was a few miles from home I noticed it.
I would add I have not changed fuel filter so that may be worth a try...OE or copy?

That was exactly the thing i was going to suggest if the bike was fully warmed up. If it was still cold standard fazers can slightly foul the plugs when cold, but if fully warmed up the fuel filter is very likely. i had a fazer 600 that used to hesitate when i snapped the throttle open. On inspection of the fuel filter it looked dirty, so i replaced it and it made a massive difference and completely got rid of the hesitation

A pattern fuel filter will be fine.

Oh gawd....Christi has woken up!
Might be worth taking a glance under the seat for anything that might have partially blocked the air filter intake.
