Welcome to the site Rusty.......very nice looking machine you have there.....ok my tuppence worth is that you dont see that many modified FZ6 around as they were never as popular as the older FZS600 but your one proves that they can look pretty cool with a few mods.....& of course the twin scorpions are its party piece.
Very nice.....if i was gonna have an FZ6 i think it would need to be in Black and one of the later series 2 FZ6......& id defo have to have those scorpions. 8)

Re the lack of unmodified FZ6's, I have seen that many either. When I went to see this one, it was pretty mint and I was well happy with it!!
Understated mods is what I like. Love the red braided hoses, they set it off nicely. Twin Scorpions are pretty neat too. She also has the much needed belly pan (needed on this bike, I think) and heated grips. And, as I am a riding noob the crash bobbins on the front forks and frame are a decent addition too.
That's a nice clean and gleaming bike, are the wheels silver or polished? mines quite good condition to say I ride all the year round, if it's dry (when I set off), plus I've done over 36,000 miles on it.
It's good to have another FZ6 on the site.

The wheels have been powder coated in silver. Nice and new-looking. Makes a real difference. This one's done 30'000, but you wouldn't know it!
Anyone know why this model seems to be the least popular?
Far as i can tell it is because of the R6 engine.....it needs too many revs to get to its peak power whereas the older fazer has more mid range power which allot of folk find more useful....personally i dont mind revs and i even redline my FZ1 regularly because i just enjoy the buzz.
When i had my old 600 fazer there wasn't really anything between it and the FZ6 that my dad has.....in the real world that is
The FZ6 just didnt click with buyers, no cult following like the older bike....but it is still a good bike.......just lacks a little bit of desirability but if it is your first bike then that isnt really gonna be an issue and it'll embarrass allot of sporty bikes out there.

Yeah, it is my first bike. You could say that I am new to it and that almost any bike would please me in my early days of riding, but I really like it and at the moment there's enough oomph in it to tantalise.
