[Research] Genuine belly pan: colour coded

Evening

Due to getting some stone chip damage on Sunday (for which I am claiming of the local council for) I doing some research into the cost of replacement/re-painting.

1. Getting a Cactus-Composites pattern one £75-80 (and that assuming that fixed all the issue with it) and then colour-match painted £160, total £240
2. Who still does the original OEM BP..? are TCP in france still trading..?
3. Who does a genuine Carbon Fibre BP in the same shop as the OEM original BP..?

I found the their main website and it comes to €265/£212, I can't judge the build quality in the low res image image so have emailed them. I would sill prefer to go the ABS/colour coded route though if I have a choice.

Do a search as I'm sure some carbon part quality was debated on fairing in fills and side panels, a multibuy was proposed.

I got one from Germany and it's top quality stuff, can't remember how much I paid but think it may have been around 40 euro's less than they asked.

errmmm stone chip damage isnt there signs out saying 10 or 20mph max how you going to prove that?? its not like a pot hole stone chips are part and parcel of the highway maintainence thefore be interested how can you claim ???

I got a carbon fibre one from Zero limits, £120 IIRC. very good quality and fit. They have improved their lead times and no longer do some of the items that took months to arrive.

There were signs saying 20 I was doing 5-10, there were stones all over the open non-resurface part of the carrageway. I have before and after pictures of the damage and it dosen't hurt to try, either I get a cheque or I don't. And fyi I didnt have the option of avoiding it due to the traffic jam.

That looks awesome, did it come with rubber/foam pads to space it away from the frame rails..? and did you have any alignment issue when fitting it..?

hang on am suing the RSPB the seagull shit on my bike and has ruined the paintwork, ffs its getting like them idiots over the pond lets litigate anyone that remotely responsible for anything remotely to do with me

Pretty much and as I've already said, if you don't ask you don't get.

Back on topic, spoke to CC about thier BP and I will come back here with the results. It would will be handy if all the issue I had with mine have been rectified so other fazer owners can get thier BPs from them.

My bike has several carbon parts from zero limits and the quality is excellent. I'm glad to here they have made the service quicker as i had to wait 9 weeks on my bits a couple of years ago.

it doesn't come with brackets, I had to use the original Yam ones. It may have some with some rubber pads, I will look later.
