<generic hello world post>

Ahoy all.

Recently got myself a '98 FZS600 which i'm taking on as a 'project' and making it a cheapfighter as my first big-boy bike. Quite the change from the 2000 Virago XV125!

Do we still do A/S/L on forums? Is that still a thing?
If Answer=Y, then: 34/M/Leicestershire and my interests (other than bikes) are: Kittens; giant robots; pc games; industrial music and trying to stay in bed as long as possible.

Picture? Fine. But it's a mess and FAR from in any reasonable state.
Needs the new radiator fitting, needs a serious clean (came dirty), and needs a fair bit of restoration and general care.

You can see it here with the old mirrors which i have since replaced with some similar looking Kawasaki mirrors. This is also pre-fancy... And by fancy i mean a grayscale stickerbomb and an engine black-out (as part of the refurb).

It's mechanically sound (bar radiator), though. Pulls very well and brakes like. .well... Yeah. Very well. Gearbox is smooths as' apart from the traditional 1st to second clunk.

No real modification plans as i want to keep the cost way down. Just going to be adding some brush guard bars because i think they're cool.

As for occupation: Nope. Not a coder. Mostly a graphic designer but currently loving working in a bike shop/garage doing restoration and cleaning. Gets me learning a bit and helps me do my own stuff.

The photo hides almost all of the filth.

Didn't come with a belly pan or nose cone as they were beyond saving. But that's cool. I like 'fighters.
