top box and pannier set

Hi folks, i am following a Krauser top box and pannier frames on e bay,  it is being advertised as fitting a Yamaha 600 fazed.  Will this fit the 400 import model i have?  in other words is the frames the same?

Difficult to know without seeing the fittings, but I have my doubts. The 400 does not have the grab rail or the frame section that the grab rail attaches to. If the Krauser kit uses the mounting for the Grab Rail then it would be extremely difficult to modify it to suit.

If you check the download section under manuals/Fazer 400 I uploaded a file which shows the modification to the Givi rail to fit it to the 400, but it is top box only.
