well, after signing up here on boxing day.... ive gawn n done it.
in at the deep end with a fazer 600 2002 model in blue.
il post some pics up at the weekend if I get time, il be collecting it on Saturday.....its going to be a little project as its a little scruffy around the edges.
its done 70k but with full history rides and runs very well...just needs a bit of fettling.
il proberbly start another thread..".can you polish a turd" or something.. :rollin
yeh, used to fettling..been having a poke around at pics of members bikes trying to gauge what I think works and what doesn't for me.
going to go down the polished rims route, not sure about a belly pan yet? it would have to be black , as I don't think blue works for me... same with the hugger.
possible 25mm jack up at the back end?? anybody done this?? how does it affect the handling?
definatly need to get rid of the rear sail and get an under tray in blue..
colour change maybe...never ends does it.
one of the 1st things to sort is some damage to the nose fairing,
anybody know of a decent paint shop around mk northants area... and what kind of cost for a paint job on it?
the bike has been dropped on its right hand very light but still damadged... cracked and scuffed fairing...plus bungey strap marks on the tail....
il be honest herew... I came from a gsx1400 through a zzr600 to here...I mioss the 1400, but too heavy for my aches.. :rolleyes
fizzy, red is nice, rode one years ago...planted a seed as they say,,,

I know a guy just outside of Chesterton, just outside of Bicester who does bodywork to a pretty good standard. Not sure he's done stuff for bikes, but he's had plenty of practise on cars. He's not expensive either.
