Hot tub hire - any experiences?
#1
Non-biking subject sorry but just in case anyone here has experience of these...

Thinking of hiring a hot tub for the weekend as part of my daughter's 13th birthday party. A company in Glasgow charge £180 for a "5 day" hire (setup on Thurs, collect on Mon). Anyone know if these hires are good/bad etc?

I used to have one. Just make sure there is a supply of chemicals that come with it, and you check the tub before people get in. Very important!
You can get some nasty infections from hot tubs very easily if the chem balance isn't right. Awesome to get in the tub about 1/2 hour before bed though, best nights sleep ever!
Stop polishing it and ride the bloody thing!!

Since you live near me I would recommend a shelter for over it as well with the weather we get.

If you shell out for a decent lazy-spa you'll have it forever, usually around £400.

My Easyspa 4 person £110 used off Ebay, perfect, had it a year and a half now, spent £500 making a summer house to insulate it ,perfect.

But yes hiring one should be a good idea, find out how many persons can get in.Check your water supply is fast enough to fill it in a few hours.
