Hello... and Sidelight?
#1
Hi,

Firstly, while this is my first post, I spent a lot of time on here reading articles etc before buying my X reg fzs600, thanks for all your inadvertent help  Smile

Long story short, I bought my bike in June, came off it due to an old lady not seeing me in July, bought a replacement fairing, got a garage to fix it and eventually got it back.

Problem is the Garage weren't great and the sidelight is no longer wired into anything. I just have the lead coming out the bottom of the fairing but nothing to connect it to.  Sad

Should the connector be behind the speedo etc between that and the fairing? I went back to the garage who did the work but they were useless and I didn't want to be without the bike for any longer while they tried to figure it out.

If someone could confirm where I should be looking that would be great, if someone has pics too of where that would be awesome. I just want my bike back as it was,

Anyway, sorry my first post is me asking for help, but cheers and hi

hey, welcome to the forum!

Sorry I can't help but I'm sure someone can, ask in the 600 section of the forum and you will probably get more help.

Sorry to hear you came off it too, hope you're ok.

All the best,

Chris

It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, I just wish it wasn't this much fun.

Cheers guys,

Will get the torch out, have a look and if i'm still screwed I'll post in the 600 section.

Will do best to stop falling off, it's definitely more fun staying on the bike  Wink

Thanks again

Well, just an update, with the help of the Old Man this weekend took off one of the "pillars" that holds the dash, fairing and wing mirror together and sitting behind it was the connector! So I know have a working sidelight... It's amazing how a question on here got me an answer a garage couldn't give me despite assembling the bloody fairing in the first place.

Thanks for your help people, just need to add the replacement stickers and my Fazer will be almost back to normal  Smile
