Multi-Quote?
#1
Its just occurred to me as Ive tried to respond to a couple of replies on a recent thread of mine - there is no option to multi-quote on this forum software?

This would be a handy addition at times, if it is possible to add it?

You can do it easy enough by cutting and pasting in the text you want, and using the quote button?

I mean if you want to quote responses from 3-4 different people in one post. The only way to do that would be to C+P it all into a notepad doc, then surround all the text with the  bb code.

bit of a PITA though when most forum software has a button for it next to the quote button. and if your on the phone/ipad - then the above method is practically an impossibility Smile

I agree it's a pain on phone / tablet, but (on the pc) you don't need to go near notepad.

You do have to  cutnpaste, but the button is there to handle the bb code for you, on pc anyway.

You can multi-quote without copy and paste - I've done it loads of times

If you use the Quick Reply at the bottom then click on the Quote button of the post you want to quote it will add the quote to the Quick Reply Smile You can do this multiple times (to quote multiple posts) - if you want to add smileys or attachments then click on "Preview" and you can do so from there

You're all welcome ^^

I use the Quick Reply a fair bit. Obviously its only really a solution for those of us using a PC - should be usable on a mobile but I find it fiddly. Tapatalk is a whole other issue and I don't use it Tongue
