indicator buzzer
#1
After leaving on my indicators one too many times (thanks DeadEye) I decided I needed a foolproof way of remembering to turn em off.  So I bought one of these:

Foc it's loud.  Practically louder than the flipping alarm.  Time will tell if it stays, gets sellotaped over, ripped out or whatever solution shows itself.

One time is one time too many ;-) .  Tbh I wondered wtf the hand signal was for about 30 seconds.

I sometimes leave my indicator and the idiot light isn't very bright so I got one of these.

You can adjust how many flashes before it starts buzzing and if your sitting at a junction having the brake on shuts it up so it's not annoying.

I like this product - seems like a very smart solution and not too expensive either.

Thanks for posting!

Yamaha had self cancelling indicators in the late 70's, why did they ever stop using them? Probably some H&S Nazi from the USA dreamt something up and had them banned.

I'm frequently pushing the cancel button as a comfort thing.
But we all have our moments of forgetfulness
Some say...

That's what my instructor said but having been a long standing cager I like an audible reminder for both myself and the pedestrians  :lol

Recently fitted a set too. Definately reminds you to cancel them and it does get folks attention

The bikes at the school I learnt to ride at, had these. Dead useful until you condition yourself enough to always cancel them

After I spent 3 months without a bike I managed to fall in to forgetting to cancel my indicators even after 12+ months of riding without the issue. Annoying how you so easily fall in and out of habbits

I've gotten used to it again now but the one thing that occasionally catches me out is indicating at traffic lights. By the time they turn to green and I move off, I've forgotten about the indicator Tongue

I cancel the indicators in the car myself so I don't forget when I'm on the bike.

The strange thing is that I always do this as well yet somehow magically forget on the bike :\

The passat at has a three blink default so I'm knackered on that count. It rarely takes me more than 3 blinks to do most manoeuvres  :lol
