I follow Steve Parish on Twitter and today he posted a photo of him picking up his brand new white FZ1S. I wonder if he will join the forum  Smile

japs are tightening their belts....he was given an R1 1st underseat  exhaust model and my mate ever so gently run it in for him......well sort of gently ...not :lol

well it certainly is interesting move, as tbh the FZ-1 has quietly been forgotten by the bike press. The oft desired fazer mk 3 has no signs of appearing ....so to me its an odd move ??
I would welcome SP here, he was  a big m8 of Barry Sheene,and an excellent racer in his day , and I bet he has plenty of tales to tell !  :lol

My local Yamaha dealer told me they have sold very few FZ1's over the years it been out..
He reackons it because there so expensive..

I think the FZ1 is expensive now and I own one. Cant understand them doing an 800. whats the point ?

The FZ1 is probably the most powerful naked bike and that to me is its what it is about. Put some extra goodies on it and its even better.

i'd have thought the k1200r and k1300r to be a more powerful 'naked' bike.
is it clean enough?
