How to disconnect link pipe from exhaust?

My exhaust is blowing a bit between the join to the link pipe. The gasket from the link pipe to the downpipes is fine, its the join between the exhaust and link pipe thats blowing, can I just pull them apart or....?

Give us a clue.. Standard can or 3rd party?

Standard can is a one piece unit, most (all?) after market are two and there'll be a bolt to loosen...

Shit, time for a new one then i guess. Yeah it's the standard exhaust, maybe i could just chuck some sealant at it for now. Blowing a bit from under the exhaust and the black link pipe (it's not the drain hole on the exhaust), oh well

There should be a nut that you can just screw off. Between the link pipe and the exhaust there is a gasket that can get eaten up. Just replace the gasket and she'll be fine. Gasket are £5

Just to be sure we are talking about the same place. Is it the circle in red where its blowing? Didnt have time to take a pic last night.

The bit I'm talking about is just inside the 10 o'clock position on your circle.

The op states that the link pipe to downpipes join is fine (although that appears to be where your circle is centered) , and that the problem is between link pipe and exhaust (by which I assume he means the can).
