The Street R is no comparison to the Fazer Thou, you may get a little closer with with the Speed being a 1050 and pick up a good bit cheaper

Brilliant bike which i am sure u could get for a good price and spread some cash round the forum. Think about it cos they dont come around in this condition very often.

The Gen1's seem to be going up in price at the dealers these days, and just read in this months Bike magazine that 2003 bikes and earlier now qualify for classic insurance and about 50% extra discount.

you do have more comeback against a dealer. If you ride it off down the road and it blows up you take it back and get your money back. Private sale it'd be up to the seller if they gave it back.

You have a lot more legal rights buying from a dealer than you do with a private sale.
