One, is never going to be enough.....
was just looking around to see the latest low miles one I could find out of interest, yes its expensive but the R is 8k so could have something like this and mod it and still have lots of change, dam thou keeps calling me, come back come back you know you want to.
not riden the street r...........but you cant go far wrong with a fazer

The Street R is no comparison to the Fazer Thou, you may get a little closer with with the Speed being a 1050 and pick up a good bit cheaper

The Gen1's seem to be going up in price at the dealers these days, and just read in this months Bike magazine that 2003 bikes and earlier now qualify for classic insurance and about 50% extra discount.
i`ve never bought from a dealer.....why should i pay there wages, warranties are not worth the paper there printed on.......picked up my gen 1 1000 54 plate 22000 miles last year for £2200.....tidy bike taxed and mot ready to go
