I know its a bit facebook ish but there are often comments in threads that I think are great but dont want to clutter up a thread with
" i agree with" or ha ha  etc

It ain't what you ride, it's who you ride with!!!

We were trialling a wee Facebook interaction mod for the board, however the author of it disappeared in a puff of smoke a while back and it was pretty buggy.
I'll have another look over the weekend and see if there's been any progress with it, if so the usual request for testers will be made.

I didn't get them from here if that's what you're implying?  Started the FZ forum some 2.5 years ago, only found this place about 18 months ago. I just took cues from several other forums I am registered on, ditched stuff that didn't apply or didn't seem relevant & added some stuff that I thought was.
I haven't had any problems with the board crashing & hardly ever get any spammers but then the forum isn't particularly busy. Being dedicated to a single model bike that hasn't been made since 1991 means activity is generally ermmmm.. .  minimal?  :lol I have tried to keep the layout simple in an attempt to encourage some of the less computer orientated owners to register. Nearly 250 members in 2.5 years is a lot more than I ever thought it would have!

I was a member of a VFR forum (don't start!) and there was a voting button called "was this helpful?" if someone gave particularly good or relevent advice.

Thought that was a good option.

And if you go Profile -> Forum Profile -> Show Posts and click Topics, it restricts it to threads you've started Smile
