:rolleyes  Just bought the Fazer after a 5 mile test ride, sharper, lighter more responsive. Hope it's as reliable as the Suzuki. We shall find out!

Welcome, my bet is the Fazer will be more reliable as the bandits are the poor equivalent. There are quite a few technically brilliant members on here to lend you their advice, tips, knowledge and experience to assist you whenever needed.

You won't regret the Fazer, do a few modifications and you will end up with the perfect bike.

Thanks for the welcome, I really can't fault the Bandit's relliability. Owned it for over 6 years and it never let me down. oil and filter every year - that's it  Smile . I'm hoping to leave the Fazer as standard like with the Bandit. Just get on it n ride, no messing - just smiles, shame I bought it in the winter 8)

I had a 1200S Bandit and to be honest i loved it!...the only problem i had was when the bloody thing fell on my leg and broke the bugger!...i now have a 600 fazer and its the beeez sphericals. Beautifully light and still a quick little bike. All i want now is the summer back that i have just totally wasted by having a metal pin fitted down my tibia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some fast bikes there boy !!

you  will like the fz1 ,goes like hell up top, you might have a few issues at low revs, starting from standstill, throttle snatch etc, all are easy to over come, just ask
