Road skills day at Brands Hatch

Any local Foccers interested in this[Image: 276748_185428738185083_11558394_q.jpg]Kent Fire BikeOK YOU LOT BREAKING NEWS! We the Fire Bike Team, in association with Rospa, Motor Sport Vision and Brands Hatch are piloting a Road Skills Day! Here's the deal.............. A day event at Brands Hatch, in the morning there will be a little Biker Down Refresher covering the salient points of First Aid, helmet removal CPR etc, followed by Road Skills chat from a ROSPA Instructor before you are then... allowed out on the TRACK at Brands Hatch (monitored by MSV Staff) having had a bit of a play you will then do some slow riding work on track with yours truly, just looking at what you're up to and assisting with slow speed control if you need it, then out on the road for an observed ride in the afternoon with a Fire Bike Team Rider from either Kent or Essex Fire bike teams or a ROSPA Instructor followed by a last session back on the track before tea and medals! HOW DOES THAT SOUND? aLL FOR THE PRINCELY SUM OF £50!!!!!!! This is on the 16th October, you will book through me by e-mailing james.sanderson@kent.fire-uk.org pay on the day (cash) DON'T BOOK if you can't guarantee 100% that you WILL turn up as we have only 50 places available, if this pilot is a success then we will be running more of them so don't worry if you fancy it but can't make this! Dazza, if you have contacts within MSV, maybe you could mention that UG tried to book a foc u track day and was..well, completely ignored! Do they not want to take our money? Ta Smile

Hi Tori, have been following that thread, pretty shameful on their behalf really. Unfortunately I have no contacts within msv but I see you may be getting a better response so, good luck Wink .

What an awesome day!  Will be going again next year for sure.  So nice to meet another Foccer from the site.  Nice to see a few Fazers too, I counted 5 including our two.

Ask Dazza about the special Fazer Thou line going down Paddock Hill bend  :thumbup

Ha ha, that wasn't a new line, more of a ZIG ZAG... :lol  Got a bit carried away too soon didn't I ?  Great day though, all for £50.  Got to be worth it. Smile
