First EVER track day!
#1
Tommorrow I'm going to Hungary, Keckemet, for my first track day. Going with a friend who's experienced. Packing two bikes in a van.

I'm a bit worried I might get too excited and crash bike/bones. A bit scared. But still can't wait. Feel as happy as a small kid, if you know what I mean.

Anyway, just wanted to share this with foccers. Will see how old FZS600 handles with stock shock. Smile

Good luck with it. Enjoy the day and the experiance, dont try to break lap records on your first session, build up over the day.

I am off to Brands Hatch GP tomorrow myself, I did 2 20 min taster sessions on the indy circuit last year but this is my first full track day.
tommorw seems to be the day for it lol

It was great. Tired, scared at first, then experienced mates told me it was all good and to just lean more, gas more, brake more. Perfect pavement, grippy.

In the end, they said it wasn't bad for the first time. Even scraped pegs twice (soft suspension and too little body hanging off the bike is to blame I think, I still have a few mm left to the edge of the rear tyre).
