hi andy yea got to york and all started well as tought i could get the studs drilled out with engine in but one was just in wrong place to be drilled and other was stainlees so wouldnt drill in place easy so we took engine out which was fun to say the least! just about every nut/bolt we touched was seized solid(as was the crash bars !) eventually the engine came out (was very tight fit and awkward( iv pulled out plenty of bike and car engines incl v8s etc) was prob hardest engine out iv ever done!)
the engine got dropped into my car boot to bring back to hull as was running out of time so will get then drilled/tapped out etc ready to re fit(hopefully this coming sat)and fargo is going to be busy cleaning bits and worry where all the bits and bobs go this week!
we couldnt have done it without another pair of hands and need another pair of hands(hopefully sat) or more to get it back into frame as its a very tight fit(alto be bit more room now we got crash bars off!)then its remembering where everything goes lol! Big Grin
