Capitalism at it's best. Get it new, don't tinker with it (authorised service, dealer etc). Euro 5?!? Nobody prevents you from buying a 1500 cc motorbike, as long as it is a euro 5. The fact it pollutes twice as much as euro 1  250cc doesn't matter.
Most things done in a hurry need to be done again - patiently.

The European Parliament, under pressure from me and others such as Motorcycle News, have put forward an impact assessment on what aspects of the proposed legislation would mean in real terms. The reaction to this impact assessment from the Committee was one of an unbridled fury - particularly when the findings cited that the cost of an average bike would rise by 500 euro just to accommodate ABS alone. So now the Committee want to rubbish it just because they don't like the findings. How very democratic!
