Tyre advice please
#1
I bet not the first to ask this........ wats the best LONG LASTING tyre for my 2000 fzs 600? I have continental contimotions at the moment and the rear has only lasted about 3000 miles and I can see wire! Ok abit happy on the throttle but I hoped for better! not a demon in the bends so not after an ultra grippy tyre, just something that lasts, any ideas?

Michelin Road Pilot 2's

I've had 2 FZS's and numerous tyres. I use the bike for commuting and so far these are the best i've had by a long shot. Add to that the exceptional grip in wet or dry as well as the durability and you're onto a winner. They even wear evenly and don't really shoulder off too badly compared to others.

Go with the Michelin Road Pilot2 or Road Pilot 3. I had my rp2 on for 2 years commuting to and from work doing roughly 100 miles a week rain or shine. They stick like brown stuff to a blanket even in the wet. Now i have a rp3 on the front and an rp2 on the rear. they look like they are going to give the same good service as my previous michelins. Hope this helps.
