Bulbs + glue = problem!
#1
Hi all,

I went to change my headlight bulbs the other day for some upgraded bulbs (not sure its worth it considering how shyte the headlights are) - but it looks like the existing ones are glued in!  Looks like the clips are missing too.

Any others with the same problem???  Anyone able to point me in the right direction for some replacement clips???

Thanks,

EdC

umm....... you have taken the covers off yours haven't you? The big round black rubber things, abotu 3 inch diameter, that are still on in both teh pics you've posted? there's a tag at the top (says top on it), pulls off easily... the clips are behind them...

when I say the clips are behind the covers, of course I mean they are in front of the covers, but that sounds kinda silly, because then they wouldn't be covered by the covers, unless they were covered by the covers, and behind them, but then the bulb would also be behind the covers, but that would mean it was pointing backwards, so then it wouldn't be much use as a headlight, and might just piss off everybody following you.

So I hope you see what I mean when I say behind the covers, cos I'd hate for you to come and ask a daft question  :angel

Ignore these, they're only pulling your leg.
It does seem to me as though it's stuck fast.
To save you buying your own for this one job, you're welcome to borrow my Bulb-O-Matic extraction tool. It's never failed me yet!
Let me know if you need it. Wink

The fact that you can, doesn't always mean you should.

Don't take it too personally EDC, taking the pi55 is a natural part of biker evolution, if your not sure nip up to wheelfit at waterbeach and let them sort it for you, they're a good bunch.
