Le Mans 24 hours is at the beginning of Sept. I'm going to that. Guest houses are around 40 euros in the nearby town. Potentially around 30 hours of non-stop boozing is in order at endurance races with bands, booze, funfair, hogroasts, booze, stunt riders, booze etc, a great event.
Worth going.
blimey, bet it will be a bit warmer than the usual April meet!
to be met with the sound of .....vvvrroom, vvvrrrooomm ........dededededede..pop..dededede..pop..dede..pop..pop....pop constantly til the wee hours

Good info guys, the trip will last around two weeks. I have done the Swiss/Austrian alps a few times so thought i would try this route.
I am off to lake bled this july, it sounds like a good choice. Any further tips for good rideouts/ places to go. Will only be there for 3 days as its part of a bigger tour. ta
