Just found the forum while searching for suspension alternatives for gen 1 1000. Live in North Fife, the bike has 26k and on 2cnd rear shock . Nice to find not only the answers but most of the required hardware available here also. I had been considering buying an alternative shock and also wondering if the R1 front end would fit. All questions answered, thanks.
Ive had the bike 10years and was thinking of a Street Triple which ticked all my boxes apart from protection ,anyway the extra needed to buy one will cover giving the fazer a hopefully more dynamic feel and an Ivans Kit to perk it up a little.
