Just received my bike mag subscription through the door. There is a section with 'top 25 bikes that do it all'. Our fazer 1000 is highly rated (Don't want to tell you the results in case i piss someone off, who hasn't read it yet!) plus there is another story 'practically perfect' where the top bikes compete against each other. I can tell you we do well again! Enjoy!

just read it and that is why after having my gen1 1000 for over 3 years I decided not to replace it as everything I tried/looked at just did not match up to the fazer.So I saved £4000 and spent £500 on upgrades for the suspension (R6 shock),goodridge hoses, heated grips and a few other bits and bods. When the weather gets really bad I am going to get the front forks refurbed (about £200) and keep the fazer for at least another year,maybe longer!
