Front Brake Pads
#1
Considering i don't use my bike for commuting only a nice ride out now and then what would you recommend as the best Value against performance Pads i should fit.
My discs are ok within Haynes Manual Tolerance as measured with a Caliper.
I will replace the Brake Fluid as i don't know when it was last done and may replace the Seals if they look poor.
Do i really need new Brake lines or should the what look like originals be ok, is there a big improvement or is it just for looks?

I'd certainly change all those decade-old rubber bits. If it's still on the original hoses you should notice a big difference with some decent braided ones (once you get all the air out of them...).

There's some Galfer pads for around half the normal price on Ebay at the moment which i've had on my bike for a while. I've found them to be very good.  Smile
