WANTED Fazer Thou (gen 1) dog bones (suspension linkages)
#1
Ok so I had a lowering kit fitted to my gen 1 Fazer thou and stupidly lost the original dog bones  :o . Now I'm fed up of it handing like poo and want to fit an R6 shock but I need to put standard dog bones back on. Can't even find any on Ebay. If anyone has anyone they could sell me (or knows where I could get 'em cheap) please let me know. Cheers.

Hi Mate

I have a set you can have for the cost of postage. Only thing is I am in the middle of a house move and they are in a box somewhere  :eek
Moving in a couple of weeks so if you can wait for a bit they are yours  Smile

Cheers

I advised the OP to use original bones to take advantage of the shorter R6 shock length.  The bike needs to be lowered but not by the ridiculous amount it is at present.

Forks will also be dropped through the yokes to compensate at the front.  May slightly compromise cornering clearance but right now the bike is configured like a chopper and steers like a bouncy castle bungee'd to a shopping trolley.  Smile

Thanks to everyone who offered dog bones for free (Foccers are the best  Smile ) I now have Pie Eater's bones (no jokes please  Wink ), and Pie Eater hopefully has enough money for a couple of pints in his account - assuming beer isn't too outrageously expensive daarn saarf...
