Front Tyre free spin - psyfi_1 - 07-07-19 okay just changed me front wheel and it feels a little tight... if you give it a spin rotates about two turns and stops is that okay or do you think it needs to spin more?? The pads still slightly touch although released which stop the wheel from fully freely spinning Re: Front Tyre free spin - psyfi_1 - 07-07-19 okay mate cheers just satisfying my paranoia lol Re: Front Tyre free spin - unfazed - 07-07-19 with or without the calipers in position? Re: Front Tyre free spin - darrsi - 10-07-19 If the calipers are working properly then the wheel should spin freely regardless. But when you remove the wheel you upset the position of the caliper ever so slightly, so it will take a very short time for the pads to bed in again in a different position than they were before. It’s only minimal but can cause a little friction, similar to when you put new pads on, or if you’ve put the pads back on different sides when refitting them. |
