Intermittant Starter Motor Problem - brooker81 - 24-04-14 This morning bike wouldnt start no movement with starter motor when i got half way to work touched the switch worked again. when i got to work stopped bike wouldnt work again ? any ideas new motor loose cable ? :'( :'( Re: Intermittant Starter Motor Problem - esetest - 24-04-14 If you download the manual , and have a multi meter it tells you how to check in the electrics section , so at least you can eliminate various things before replacing parts . Re: Intermittant Starter Motor Problem - esetest - 24-04-14 As per the manual - Check the main and ignition fuses , check condition of battery , then to check starter motor put a jumper lead from positive battery terminal to starter motor lead 2 ( this check may produce sparks ) does the starter motor turnĀ - if not repair or replace starter motor.
