Seems very tight ![]() ![]() Re: Problem with Renthal bars - wezdavo - 29-01-14 I got a file to take off the plastic casting marks inside the grip, went on with not much bother after that... Re: Problem with Renthal bars - Davieg47 - 29-01-14 Okay, cheers bud, will giv it a try Re: Problem with Renthal bars - Ketty - 29-01-14 I fitted some last year, I used hairspray squirted on the inside of the rubber and it went on fine, when it dries the hairspray acts like a glue and stops the grip moving. I have done this on many bikes over the years, hope this helps. Problem with Renthal bars - Paul Kent - 30-01-14 Are renthals any higher than standard bars as I'd like something higher / wider Re: Problem with Renthal bars - Davieg47 - 30-01-14 (30-01-14, 09:10 AM)Paul Kent link Wrote: Are renthals any higher than standard bars as I'd like something higher / wider Depends what style u go for as there are a few :-) Re: Problem with Renthal bars - Paul Kent - 30-01-14 Is there not a specific type for this bike? I don't want to have to replace cables etc Re: Problem with Renthal bars - fireblake - 30-01-14 If you go higher you're most probably have to replace you brake lines. Re: Problem with Renthal bars - Dead Eye - 30-01-14 If you can live with the width, then wouldn't bar risers be an easier option to get height? I have 25mm risers on my thou and it does make a big difference Re: Problem with Renthal bars - Davieg47 - 30-01-14 Grips on, no probs, little tap with a mallet ![]() ![]() |
