Carb caps removal??? - dickturpin - 17-02-12 Any tips for getting the rubber caps off the carbs to allow a carb balance to be done? No, I haven't got any of those long reach plier things with a bent nose!! .....Hoping the answer won't be 'Get some of those long reach plier things with a bent nose!' Or you can use a long flat head screwdriver as well but it is fiddly i dont have that problem anymore as i did the cross-over mod and thats realy easy to remove. Re: Carb caps removal??? - Falcon 269 - 18-02-12 The little clamps don't take much compressing. You should be able to get at 1 & 4 with your fingers. Possibly #2 as well, depending on the size of your hands.
