Re: Custom Fazer project so far... - DarthFazer - 21-08-12 Thanks for the comments guys, appreciate the patience just waiting on a few last bits to arrive and she will be complete for the grand unveiling ;-) Custom Fazer project so far... - blue_faz600 - 22-08-12 Mate, great job! Love the paint job and lights! Looking into a headlight mod myself, I will let you know if it works out, but uses projector lamps and the standard headlight! Should be a fun little project! Re: Custom Fazer project so far... - Oxygen - 26-08-12 Very nice indeed. Re: Custom Fazer project so far... - Fazer Jake - 26-08-12 Very nice, needs a large jackup kit on it imo ![]() Re: Custom Fazer project so far... - DarthFazer - 26-08-12 Thanks for the compliments guys ![]() Re: Custom Fazer project so far... - darrsi - 27-08-12 That is lovely, very nice work...... ![]() Re: Custom Fazer project so far... - peteski - 27-08-12 Colour is spot on and the contrast with with gloss black on the tank and rear really stands out. Personally I'm not keen on any aftermarket fairings, I've never seen one that blends in with the rest of the plastic that well. Would much rather see the engine with a few polished bits thrown in there and stainless bolts etc. But that's just personal preference. The attention you've lavished on this puts most of our (now) tired FZS's to shame ![]() Re: Custom Fazer project so far... - bradders086 - 27-08-12 What fairing have you used, I've been trying to find some for mine Re: Custom Fazer project so far... - caretaker - 27-08-12 is that a merc in the background? Re: Custom Fazer project so far... - Lazarus - 27-08-12 love the result m8 Re: Custom Fazer project so far... - DarthFazer - 28-08-12 Some pictures with the headlights running ![]() Re: Custom Fazer project so far... - Tiberius Onklevaart - 30-08-12 Wow Re: Custom Fazer project so far... - Khaotik - 30-08-12 Fantastic! How bright are the lights - on a par with the standard? Re: Custom Fazer project so far... - Easy Rider 13 - 03-09-12 Thanks for this..... :rolleyes This looks absolutely awesome by the way.... but now my missus wants ours to look like that :eek aint got noooo chance! great work.... its fantastic ! Re: Custom Fazer project so far... - DarthFazer - 03-09-12 *After taking it down some twisty country roads at night i can honestly say that the headlights are far superior to the stock ones, they're standard philips 55w bulbs but can be upgraded to 60w so there's always room for improvements. *The lower fairings are made by a company called skidmarx *Just installed a 25mm jack-up kit, handles better in the corners and sets the bike of nicely. *Regarding Petski's comments i struggled a lot in deciding whether or not to put the fairing back on as it looked great without it. *Well Ton 13, if you ever fancy having something similar done to your bike pop down to Morris Ave Garage in East-London and ask for Joe, guy is a magician, its no wonder why we call him Merlin ![]() Also is anyone going down to the Brighton burn up this weekend? would be nice to meet a few fellow foccers ;-) Re: Custom Fazer project so far... - Fuzzy - 04-09-12 DarthFazer, that's an awesome looking Fazer, wow. I'm going to be at the Brighton burn up, there's no mistaking your bike so I should be able to spot you! If you want to trade contact details though, please pm or email me. Would be really cool to see your Fazer up close! Re: Custom Fazer project so far... - bradders086 - 05-09-12 What bike is the side fairing from? mine needs a bit of tarting up Re: Custom Fazer project so far... - Lawrence - 05-09-12 (03-09-12, 10:09 AM)Lazarus link Wrote: How dim are the lights - on a par with the standard?Corrected that for you :look That looks ace :thumbup Wasn't convinced with the small lights in the middle, but with it all painted up it looks pretty damn nice ![]() |
