Re: Fitting your own tyres - andybesy - 06-09-14 Thanks ever so much for all the responses folks, lots of valid points and very helpful experiences both for and against, in particular thanks to Red and Flak for their detailed info. Lots for me to think on, but at it's most basic I'm concluding that yes in principle it can be done with basic tools, and yes I have been paying over the odds. I think when the time comes I'm going to have a go at it myself and see how I get on, I'll just treat it as a mini project and learning experience, if I end up using a professional fitter in future then no harm done. I'll let you know how it turns out :eek Andy |
