i know nothing about where the cables should be...but i appreciate your eye being caught...as for the levers, i fancied the shorter ones but figured it would take twice as much effort to pull them given their lack of leverage, so stuck to what i knew, which aint much...

I once had a bus stop for me when I was pushing 400N home we tried getting thew bike on board bus but the middle hand rail prevented it so I'd of had to hold it in with back end hanging out the doors. Bummer really as he was going to about 200 yds from where I lived
