So, been looking again at getting some bars for the bike.
With the Heed or Renntec ones with their cross bar, do any of you find gets in the way of your legs/feet at all?
So I've been looking at the Yammy ones, seems there's a few variants:-
The lower rounded mini one: 5RT-W0741-00 (as pictured in this Fazer brochure)
[size=1em]And the squarer taller ones: 5DM-W0741-00 / [/size]5DM-W0741-10 (black/chrome)
[size=1em]These last ones, seem to come in two versions, one where two halves meet in centre of bike and one where they don't. Can anyone shed some light on these two version? Foxeye/Boxeye versions? older/newer iterations?[/size][size=1em]Granted, neither will provide as much protection as the more encompassing Heed/Renntec bars, but I think I prefer the more discreet look of them. And from much experience, the rear of the engine doesn't hit the ground anyway, as my pegs and Givi rack/box take the impact first... [/size]

Not sure why there are different but I think they'll both fit all the FZS600 models. I would say that the version where the two halves join would be better.

I personally dont like bungs I have seen to many twisted engine cradles and broken engine mounts because of them. I can vouch for the big wrap around bars and how well they work. As for the little Wemoto bars they are only good for a very low speed off and not much more.

Hey Punkstig......any more thoughts on this Punk-bellied-pan????....sounds interesting likes.
I've got some Renntec big bars from Apage and im just putting on coat after coat of paint then i'll get them fitted....the pressure pad at the rear frame at first glance worried me a little, i just thought mmm i dunno if i want too much pressure on that part and on the hangers but after more thought it is a good thing, it spreads out the pressure plus if the hanger snaps off then it has taken allot of the impact energy and can be replaced.
i might look at some kind of gasket or bit of rubber to stick on the plate though to limit damage to the frame.
Plus the good thing is that the 2 halves join together at the front....male to female creating a strong point so i think they look sound.
I would also like a small black belly pan but im not sure it will fit from standard with these crash bars in place.
anyone fitted rentec bars plus a belly pan...any pics?????
