Hi guys
I'm interested in fitting an aftermarket exhaust to my 2001 Fazer and I was wondering if anyone knew of any good quality and loud exhausts for it.
*please note I personally just prefer loud exhausts, I in no way have anything against the quieter ones, nor am I one of these boys racers who uses their loud can to annoy people deliberately, it is just a personal preference.
*also note my Fazer current has a Carbon (the brand Carbon, not wrapped carbon) exhaust on it.
Thanks guys hope you can help ?

Got her out the garage this morning and went to start her up and..... nothing.
The dash comes on and all the checks are done and when I press the start button it turns over but will not fire. As soon as I release the start button the dash does all the start up procedure again and the temp guage says HI?
I've tried the red key too but same thing and now I've killed the battery.
I didn't have time to check much as I had to come to work but gonna try a battery charger when I get home and hope for the best.
Other things to note are that it's very low on fuel (1bar) and it was sold cold last night the car was frozen.
Any suggestions please?

Hi
Has anyone got a seat/seat base for sale for a gen 1 1000.
Looking for a base that I can get recovered, probably by Digger Custom Seats who I believe does a good Corbin style copy.
Cheers
The cheaper the better but the base has to be in good nick.

Went over to my friends house on Sunday, had a brew, got back on the bike and it wouldn't start.
Everything worked bar the starting system
Managed to bump start it and rode home without a problem
Tried several times starting it again but with no luck
You couldn't even here the solenoid click
And I've never experienced an electrical fault or starter fault before and I've had the bike from new
I have another 600 Fazer, so I swapped:
Starter button
Starter relay
Starter cut out relay
Battery
On to the other bike and they all worked and the bike started and ran fine.
Checked the wiring with a multi meter and it seemed ok
put the original, Starter button, Starter relay, Starter cut out relay, Battery back on the bike.

Put all the connector blocks backed together, and the damn thing started no problem.
So I'm guessing I've got an intermittent electrical fault on the stater circuit somewhere.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar, and if so did you find out what caused it?
The bikes a 2001 Fazer and its done 86,000 miles

I have a problem with my 1999 FZS600 clocks. The right hand side (Right of Rev Gauge and Petrol Gauge) goes off when the bike goes over 4k, this then comes back on about 6k. If i drop below 4k again it comes back on and when changing gears it goes of and back on.
Not sure if this is related to revs or if its just the vibration of the bike at these ranges, any ideas? I have tried wiggling various wires and no help. Weird that its only the right side and not the whole unit.
Do i need to remove fairing to get to clocks?
