| Fuel gauge gone wierd |

I took the bike out for a ride yesterday after a long break. I noticed on the way back the fuel gauge shot up to to over FULL and the orange fuel light cam on :eek . This seemed worse on the fast roads and dropped to normal-ish when I was in the 30's.
I would have said the fuel gauge was stuck but the orange light worries me. I have done nearly 100 miles off the full tank so should be around a quarter to a half full.
I should add that the bike seems to be revving okay...
Any ideas? And how easy is it to sort?

Hi, I'm having a bit of trouble with getting a spark to the engine. I've tested everything and the voltage stops at the coils, what resistance should I be looking for on the coil packs? Thanks

Hi, 32 based in Ireland and Currently butchering a 99'fzs600. I have fz1 tank, r1 seat unit and plans for r1 usd forks. Almost have it compete, just sort out front brakes , trouble getting a spark to the engine and hopefully that's it. Hope that's enough of an intro!

Just ordered a set of Bahco ratcheting spanners. Not seen these before, but maybe I need to get out a bit more :lol . Each spanner head is a double ended socket and covers 2 metric sizes, so the set of 3 spanners in a pouch covers 12 sizes(8mm to 19mm going from memory). Ideal for carrying on the bike. £29.95
