Quite happy to admit that was me last in on Exup's bike. Not ready to ride those bends "comfortably" yet! 'Course, I wanted to keep an eye on Exup and Christo on mine as well..(yeah, yeah, blah blah)  :lol
I was actually a bit worried about doing it with several of us together, because I didn't know how that was going to affect my choice of line. All credit to you Adam, you obviously have the hang of that one.
Over to you, Mr. Kosmic... :lol

It's a GoPro2 however as my pc can't handle high def footage I use the ps3's basic editing software, but for some reason it lowers the resolution from 1080p to something lower. So the footage you get on youtube isn't actually the best footage I have if that makes sense!

That's some nice roads and good riding.  I'd have been bricking it.

P'raps you could pop over to mine sometime Liam, I'm nicely based for easy access and some good routes to take it in. I want to learn it properly too, get rid of this hold it seems to have over me!

Sounds like a plan ^^

When I'm in Bristol it might actually be easier... getting to Oxford way never seems simple from Essex...

I'm in, if its a weekend I'm free that is!
It does take a number of times to know what to expect from it, I still don't get it right but I do try and stay in one lane instead of using the while road (i know i didnt on the right hander) but concentrating on the upcoming corners is safer than looking in the mirrors for anybody coming up from behind attacking the hill!

To be honest its the first left that throws everyone, on approach it looks all good, you can clearly see where the road goes and the exit but it continually tightens on you, takes several rides of it to understand!

 :rollin

And how many times have you been up there on a bike  :lol That's first for me on a bike. Only other time was towing my caravan about 25 years ago  :lol

I think I gave a good account for myself... Plus camara makes me look further back than I actualy was  :eek   I was getting showered with all the sparks coming off your knee sliders.

I know I know, All talk  :lol

My philosophy is to learn to learn the road slowly the first time and then get quicker.  Next time up there I'll blow you into the hedgerow lol. Rirst run up there I'd identified several areas of improvement.

 ;)

PS First left seems to need a wide entry with late apex.

I have been down that hill when I went to Shakespeare County Raceway to go drag racing.
If it wasn't for the cars it would have been real cool, but sorry didn't have a vid camera set up at the time.

I've been down a couple of times before and hated it, all my weight was on my wrists but maybe thats me not gripping properly with my knees.

I do it down hill in the mid 1980's at that time the road had a really twisty end as it went into Broadway its self, I was on a Honda 550 four super sport at the time.

I've gone down it once,  due to cars and it being a single carriageway downhill its nowhere near as fun!

Fish hill isn't a good place to learn tbh!
I would say roundabouts but the safest place to learn is a trackday.
One major mistake is people will say 'but I'm leaning off like a monkey but still can't get my knee down'
When they might have an ass cheek off the seat and pointing their knee but the upper body is still over the top of the bike, its leaning the upper body that puts everything into position,
To start it will feel peculiar because the angle you're used to leaning the bike will feel a whole lot further over when you lean your body off the side, when in fact the bike is probably less leant over!
Basically, on approach to the corner push the heel of your foot into the bike, this twists the leg and instantly pushes the knee out wards, as you slide your arse off the seat the upper body should be coming off the side of the bike also, your head should be more in line with the wing mirror, if its still over the tank then your upper body is in the wrong place!

I ride like this because this is how I feel comfortable and I find it enjoyable, I've seen people riding bolt upright not even moving their legs but still getting fantastic lean angles and taking corners at a decent speed!

I know just want to be able to do it. thought if i watched someone from behind on an identical bike would help.
