Faulty alarm?!
« on: 27 August 2013, 11:28:49 pm »
Had a good return today. An Oxford Screamer alarmed disc lock turned up. Now, they have a pretty thick metal plate, all the electronic gubbins are mounted between this and the plastic covers. Well, this one arrived with the plate bit bent in the middle - must've taken a hell of a force to do it. So we're all thinking, yeah, he's tried to ride off forgetting the disc lock was on, you could see a mark where maybe it'd hit the front mudguard or something too.
The note from the returning dealer said...?
"Faulty alarm"......................
Go figure!

Forgetting to mention bent and mangled callipers and dent to wheel rim!
