Is there any way to neaten up this damaged mudguard?
« on: 23 November 2011, 12:22:00 am »
I've posted this pic in General but thought i'd put it here too in case you've missed it (original post was asking how much a new mudguard would cost rather than how to make the damaged one look a bit better).

So here it is, the result of some ijit who can't park and obviously has no conscience either as they didn't leave their details. If anyone has any ideas how to make it look a bit better til a cheap replacement turns up on ebay please let me know.

yup take a dremal to it, a sanding barrel will rounden it off with ease and get a bit of shape back. it wont be perfect but will be fine at a glance.

How much would you pay for a mudguard off ebay ?... cos that could be cheaper than a repair.

Round it off with a dremel and tidy the front edge with some cheap edge trim
