Engine paint.
« on: 23 August 2013, 05:03:15 pm »
my old girl is starting to look a little tired at the front of the engine, I am planning to re paint the front of the engine (while i have the exhaust off for exup surgery) for protection more than looks as you cant see that area too well.
where will I get the correct paint colour and type??
is there a car paint equivalent??

I used Ford Stardust silver for the cam cover on my last Fazer and 3 years later it still looked perfect. Just bought the spraycans from Halfords.

I got a can of Simoniz Aluminium Engine Enamel of Fleabag recently, about 7 quid inc. p&p and a spot on match for my silver Gen 1 engine.
