Have a look for ASV levers - more expensive, but probably better quality overall.

If they were sent from china (or that general area) they always write 'gift' on the package, not once have I had to pay any duties when getting stuff from that part of the world.
If you do get stung its standard vat on top of what you've paid plus a small paperwork charge!

Ordered, just hope customs don't try to rape me for import duty and handling fees, does anyone know at what price this applies ?

They won't but TNT might. Low value for VAT free is £15. See my reply at http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,8866.msg88314.html#msg88314

The 15 quid threshold doesn't apply if it is marked as a sample as mine was so add a note to your order asking them not to mark item as sample

Good point. Presumably because a 'sample' is regarded as a commercial importation rather than a personal one.

There's a couple of photos of mine fitted and an eBay link to the seller on this thread if that's any help.

Hows the adjustment of the clutch lever like? I've always found the standard lever to be too far away from the bar to my liking.

Just ordered some of these. Wanted some standard length ones but couldn't find them anywhere so settled on a nice silver pair  :D

Hi, My first ever post on here, hope it helps.

I got these levers from eBay (China) and have been using them for about three weeks. Like you I was not too sure about how they would turn out but I am more than happy with them. As for the company, I had no problems with them, the levers actually turned up 2 days before they said they would.
Attached are some pics (i hope) of them on the bike.

Firstly, welcome Mav121! Yes, they look good and nicely colour coordinated too btw. Bit worried about switching to short levers, not sure if I'd like it to be honest. Looking forward to trying them out though.

Fizzy how are you getting on with these levers, re the clutch switch?.

I really really really need some new levers now, they cant take any more impacts.these ones seem the only option at a sensible price & they do look the part.

Finally ordered some for my now soon to be mad max fazer.
annoyingly only gold ones available at much much cheapness, but they told me they could do Blue but there was no way i could figure out to buy blue ones on ebay so ive bought the black ones with a message to them explaining that i want Blue not black.

i also explained that since they were close to 20 gbp can they mark as such and i suggested they were a gift, a gift from me to my myself no less! :b .

so basically now im playing the will i get customs raped waiting game
