Confuzzled and moderately concerned
« on: 14 November 2011, 05:04:52 pm »
Got in from work and found a brown envelope waiting for me with a return postcode printed on the back and nowt else.
Opened it up and it was a V5 for Bumblebee from the DVLA.

What's confusing me is I've got the original sitting in the document wallet that came with the bike.
 :deal
So, are the DVLA randomly sending out duplicate V5's or is something more sinister afoot with someone trying to register 'Bee elsewhere?

Before any other foccer says it, I'm assuming that no, they haven't seen her yet!!

They're replacing all V5's (yet again) this time because some thieveing wotsit stole a load of blank ones. New one should have a red front, previous one should be blue, from memory.

I had a red top type replacement last week for a bike that has been on sorn for a while. As said before they are replacing all registration documents and I read somewhere that the whole process will take till November 2012.
