July's theme is: wildlife native to the British Isles, not in zoos, cages etc. Wild 

Post your photographs below to enter. Competition rules include a maximum of 2 photographs per active member, photographs must have been taken by the entrant and relate to the theme and the competition will close on or after 28 July. The prize is to choose next month's theme.

Meanwhile, this ugly thing's a Rattus Norvegicus. While they sometimes they live down in the sewer this one set up home in my compost heap… though it wasn't hanging around for long.
