Unless it has an object in the sentence then it should be I in my opinion.

That seems a touch homophobic for something that was meant to be amusing. Try not taking life so seriously and let people live their lives and express themselves how they want.

Please don't imply you speak for everyone when you don't. "picture your trophies to all our disgust", I for one do not find a tea bag on someone's head disgusting and that's coming from a straight male with two kids and a lack of a sense of humour.
